Haha, hi! Teng's here to post :D Okay anyway over the class tee thingy i've come up with a design and I looked at 1F's blog and they came up with a few designs and asked the class to vote. You guys want to do the same? Okay, I credited them okay! In BIG RED LETTERS! And anyway I think their nice people and won't mind right?!?! Haha. > Collection of monthly fees by Treasurer: Most of you guys STILL don't get this system. Let me explain. You see, we collect $10 each month. So total of $280 a month. We use this to pay for anything we need to buy collectively. Any leftovers, we put in class fund. And if there's something like a trip we need to pay for, I don't think we'd be using this. Her name is Jia Ying. Let's get it right. Unless I'm wrong, which means I've been calling her the wrong name and she did not correct me throughout the whole time I was teaching her Maths. Yes, I have been teaching her Maths. :O (gasps!) With my VERY LIMITED knowledge of the Chinese Language, I might add. This is how it happened:

I ate lunch with Zhi Chun and Jia Ying, who was staying back. Zhi Chun had to go for her CCA. Zhi Chun asked me to take care of her. Zhi Chun left. I was left with Jia Ying. Jia Ying asked me for help in the Maths homework. I went "OH NO. OH NO." in my head. I didn't say no, for the simple fact that I just couldn't. So that was the beginning of my successful teaching career.

OK, maybe not. But I did manage to teach her what are factors, multiples, prime numbers, HCF and LCM. And I didn't even know what multiply is in Chinese. Isn't that amazing?:O:D From now on, I am going to communicate with Jia Ying by speaking as little as possible.

Anyway, there is something interesting I'd like to tell about Jia Ying. It turns out that her mother is a teacher in Shandong. The school she teaches in has done an exchange programme with MY primary school, HAIG GIRLS' SCHOOL, which absolutely, without a doubt, ROCKS! So actually, Jia Ying's mother has visited my school before. I found out when I saw Jia Ying and her mother talking with 2 Chinese teachers from my school, one of them my sister's current teacher no less. That was when it was all explained to me.

Now, isn't that interesting? Small world. (breaks out into song: ♪ "It's a Small World"♫) Ok, sorry about that. Anyway, time for business. Please bring the $10 on THURSDAY. I'll be too busy celebrating on Wednesday.♥

Hello people. I'm back again ._. after like 4hs. If you are wondering why I'm posting so much, that's because I'm trying I get my mind off some things. Hais. So it's like probably after today, after I get my mind off those things, I wouldn't post anymore. Yay :D

Ok.. So there's like around 10 people or so in our class that are sick. As in running nose, cough, mc etcetc. So ya, I have prepared remedies for some mild illness that everyone knows.

For sore throats: drink water, eat strepsils and maybe fisherman's friend? :D
cough: continue coughing till the phlegm comes out.
Running nose: just keep on blowing and hope someone appreciates the noise.
Fever: drink Milo. Preferably with ice.

Ooh..btw, if I were sick like you, I wouldn't do a single of the above remedy. In fact, I would just go to a doctor and get an mc for like 2 days? Or maybe 3 days if the doc's nice :D

I must say that though certain posts are indeed interesting and funny, I think that this is getting a bit out of hand 'cos it's a bit personal.
I mean, certain posts like Wonn Jen's, you might as well have told people exactly how long you took to get the contents of your constipated intestines out.
No offence, but it's seriously turning into something of a personal blog used by everyone.
You can mention certain funny things from time to time, of course, but the point is not to overdo anything.
